Friday Night Vespers With Dr. Appel
Dr. James Appel will be presenting vespers at The Place Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Friday night February 11 at 7:00pm.

James is the Doctor and Chief Administrator of Bere Adventist Hospital in Tchad, Africa. His struggles and letters home have ignited a groundswell of donations and activism and rekindled a flame of service in many readers. Most notable is a 40-foot container filled with over $100,000.00 in medical goods raised by lay-people that left California on January 27 to Tchad, and a mission trip of fifteen leaving in March. We hope you can attend.

James' letter can be accessed at www.berehospital.org

Directions to The Place can be found at www.theplacers.org or call Pastor Simon Liversidge at
805-498-2300.

We will also be giving James and his new bride, Sarah a wedding gift from all of us at The Place. If you are interested in donating to the group gift, please contact Alisa Kalberg at (805) 582-0304.
