Monthly Food Drive-This Sabbath
.." The kind of fasting that I seek for you is for you to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-when you see the naked to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood" Isaiah 58:6,7.
This coming Sabbath is our monthly food drive. After the holidays, there are less food donations, but the needs have not changed. We continue to donate the food to Ventura County Food Share. They have very much appreciated the donations that The Place has given. Some of the families that receive food every month have babies and young children. These families are in need of diapers and baby wipes. Every month the Ventura County Food Share provides meals to children, families and the elderly. There will be a box by the door for your donations. If you, your family, or someone you know needs food assistance, please contact Pastor Simon.
