Wild at Heart Men THIS Sunday
This Sunday is Wild At Heart Men's Sunday. This is a time of praying, playing, and eating....what could be more appropriate? We would really like to encourage ALL of the men out there who might be feeling even a little wild to come out and enjoy this time of manly man stuff. Please plan on meeting this Sunday morning starting at 10 a.m. at the park on the corner of Wendy and Kimber (right behind the church.) You may contact David Park at (818) 421-2420 for more information. Also, please bring your Wild At Heart Book if you have one.........we hope to see many men there!
Mom's/ Children's Ministry
The Mom's group has been meeting for the past month and it has been a true blessing for many mothers. We have met at parks, planned a zoo trip and have had a mom's only night out. And-there are many more good things to come! We would like to encourage all of the mothers who are interested in this group to come out on Wednesdays for some fellowship time with other mommies. Heather Richmund is the contact for the ministry........stay tuned for more activities to come!
Beginning on May 21st, we will be having a monthly Children's Church. This will be a special time for our tots as we share about Christ through the Veggietales curriculum. Children's church will normally be held the 2nd Sababth of every month. However, we need YOUR help to make this a truly wonderful experience for the little ones. If you are interested in helping lead, plan, be in the background, do crafts, music or help in any way, please contact Pastor Simon or Heather Richmund or Jen Lew. Children's Church will meet during the adult service in our new youth chapel.
Also, we need another teacher for our Primary/Junior class. If you have a passion for kids and are willing to lead out once a month, please contact Pastor Simon or Jeremy Bachmann @ 805-494-9343.
