This Week At The Place
This Sabbath Pastor Simon will be preaching at The Place. This week Pastor Simon continues his series which focuses on Falling In Love With Jesus. This week is the third in his series and is titled "Touching God."

We also have a new Daily Reading Plan to follow along with the series, pick up your copy this Sabbath.

Elder Rob Randall will be leading out in the adult Sabbath School that meets at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. They are exploring the book of Acts.

Pastor Simon will be leading out in the Discipleship Sabbath School class. Last week the group began a new book titled Lifestyle Evangelism by Joe Aldrich. This week the group will be going over chapter 1...This is still a great time for new people to join and become part of this wonderful class.

Discipleship/Bible Study Classes
In the recent weeks you have heard a great deal about our new discipleship class to equip people on how to give personal Bible studies. Our new bible worker, Mindy along with Pastor Simon, will be conducting the new class. We will learn "how-to" as well as the "what" of Bible Studies on the major beliefs of Seventh-day Adventists. One group will be meeting on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. (fellowship hall) and another group will be meeting on Sabbath mornings at 10 a.m. (the big room behind the youth room). If you are interested in joining, please contact Mindy @ 805-807-6214 or Pastor Simon. And, don't be afraid...you will not be pressured!

Youth Calendar
The NPAA gym is available to all youth on Sunday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m....please take advantage of this time and come hang out with your friends!
Also-mark your calendars for the next Youth Big House scheduled for Friday evening October 21st. There will be special praise band lead by Tim Ramirez and the awesome guest speaker will be Aaron Ramirez. There will also be a special time of fellowship following praise and worship...stay tuned for more details!
