Many churches from our area are taking on community service projects. We have committed ourselves to at least 3 - including a beach clean-up; trail clearing; and general cleanup of a shelter for battered women. We will have more information and sign up sheets at church this Sabbath. We will be doing these projects in the afternoon after church. If you are interested or need more info., please contact Pastor Simon. But, we invite you to sign up as soon as possible, as we may take on more projects if there is enough interest.

And, we want to bless one of our own...Josue Gomez, who is a Marine, currently stationed in Iraq. He would love to hear from us and receive care packages. So, we invite you to bring any goodies either this Sabbath or next, so we can spoil him and remind him he is loved! If you need more information, please contact Cindy Schumacher. If you would like to contact him directly, please ask his parents or Pastor Simon for the address.

This month ALL mommies get to be showered with love! In celebration of Mother's Day, each mommy will have an opportunity to brighten another mommy's day all month. If you have not had a chance to respond to Heather about this, you still have time-just e-mail Heather via the link below.
