Financial Update for March
Once again, we would like to thank you for your financial support of The Place. During March we received $20,916 in tithe, giving us a year to date total of $43,802. This money is a great blessing to our conference and the world-wide SDA church.
In March we also received $13,763 towards our local church budget, for a year to date total of $25,896. This leaves us only a few thousand dollars behind our church budget for 2007 to this point. We appreciate so much your support.
We also want to let you know as a church family that The Place is going to be hiring a new associate pastor in the near future...by God's grace. The money for this salary will be paid entirely by our church as part of our local church budget. So, if you can support us in this faith step, it would be a great blessing to us.
We nvite you to remember our church finances as you return your tithes and offerings. God is faithful to his promises. You may return your tithes and offerings at The Place or on-line by clicking on the link.
Mission Trip Ecuador 2007
This summer members of The Place will be going on a mission trip to Ecuador, where we will be building a church in a village called Chapulo. We are beginning to do some fundraising and are planning a garage sale for early June. If you have items that you could donate, we will be ready to start collecting soon.
Also, we have been challenged by a generous member of The Place...he will match the other church members for $5000!!! So, together, if we can support The Place mission project by giving together to give $5000 towards it, one of our members will MATCH! What a blessing! Consider yourselves challenged.
And, on a different mission front, on Sabbath, April 28th James and Sarah Appel will be here as James will be sharing about their mission work in Tchad...dont miss out.
