The Scoop at The Place - May 3, 2007

This Week At The Place
We look forward to seeing you at The Place this Sabbath. This Sabbath Pastor Simon will continue his series on the book of John. This week's sermon is on chapter 9, the testimony of the blind man. There will be several special music performances and also a drama skit with Greg and Meg Quilop. Dean Palacio will be leading praise and worship.

We invite you to Sabbath School this week. In addition to our cradle roll, primary. earliteen, and youth Sabbath school classes that meet at 10:30 a.m., we have several new classes including a new kindergarten class for 4-6 year olds, a young adult class with Pastor Simon, and a relational class facilitated by Arla Caraboolad, starting at 10:15 a.m.

Rob Randall will be leading the general adult Sabbath school which is studying the book of Romans. Stop by and be blessed!

You are also invited to attend our community prayer time at The Place every Sabbath before Sabbath School starting at 9:45 a.m. Come and pray for our church or bring your special needs.

And, finally, we appreciate your financial support of The Place and our ministry. If you would like to return your tithes and offerings, you may do so at The Place or on-line by clicking on the link. We are excited about what God is doing in our church, and particularly excited to be hiring an associate pastor...if you are interested in helping to financially support this new venture, we would greatly appreciate it.
