The Scoop at The Place - June 21, 2007
This Week At The PlaceWe look forward to seeing you at The Place this Sabbath. This Sabbath Elder Bill Werner will be preaching about the God who loves us... even when we blow it! His focus will be on John 14:1-4. We look forward to praise and worship lead by Dean Palacio and there will be special music given by Aaron Doyle and Shearin Matute. And, don't forget to "serve" someone this week!
We invite you to Sabbath School this week. In addition to our cradle roll, primary. earliteen, and youth Sabbath school classes that meet at 10:30 a.m., we have several new classes including a new kindergarten class for 4-6 year olds, a young adult class with Pastor Simon.
Rob Randall will be leading the general adult Sabbath school which is studying the book of Romans. Stop by and be blessed!
You are also invited to attend our community prayer time at The Place every Sabbath before Sabbath School starting at 9:45 a.m. If you would like to pray for our church or be prayed for, we invite you to come and share in this powerful time together.
A reminder that you may return your tithes and offerings at The Place or online by clicking on the link provided. If you are interested in donating to the associate pastor fund, you may do so online by specifying associate pastor fund or at The Place by filling out one of the cards. Thanks for your support!

Get Involved-Ministry Needs
We are so blessed at The Place to have so many of you involved in our ministry - both in our church and in our community. But, as we are almost concluding our nominating committee process, we still have several areas of need. Please contact Pastor Simon if you have any interest in participating: in Cafe Ministry; Children's Church; as a Deacon; in Fellowship Lunches; as a Greeter; or in our Video ministry (running the video portion of our service.) These are areas of special need, but of course, we would love to have you participate in ANY area of ministry!! Just let us know.
