The Scoop at The Place - October 18, 2007

This Week At The Place/Parking!
We look forward to seeing you at The Place this Sabbath. This Sabbath Pastor Simon will continue his series on Revolutionary Living. This week's sermon is titled "First Things First" and focuses on Deut. 5-6. Chad Reisser will be leading praise and worship. There will also be special music by Xavier Lemond.

And, for our members and regular attenders, we love our parking problem!! But, we want to make sure we have parking for our visitors and those going to some of the businesses we share our parking lot with. So, we are kindly requesting that, if possible, you could park a bit further away and walk a little, or park around the sides. That would be a help to us as we make The Place welcoming for our visitors and as we stay in the good graces of our neighbors. THANKS!

We invite you to Sabbath School this week. We have children's Sabbath Schools for all ages, including our cradle roll, kindergarten, primary, junior/earliteen, and youth Sabbath school classes that meet at 10:30 a.m.

Elder Rob Randall will be leading the adult Sabbath school which is studying the book of Romans. Stop by and be blessed!

You are also invited to attend our community prayer time at The Place every Sabbath before Sabbath School starting at 9:45 a.m. If you would like to pray for our church or be prayed for, we invite you to come and share in this powerful time together.

We also invite you to continue your faithful giving. We appreciate your support so much. We are in URGENT need of more financial donations for our worthy student fund. If you would like to donate to this fund, please specify the amount on your tithe envelope. You may return tithes and offerings at The Place. God bless.
