This week Los Angeles and the whole Southland has been burning. We invite you to join in prayer each day as we pray for our city and the victims of this fire. Also, if you know of specific needs or families who have lost their homes or need help, please let us know so we can do whatever we can to assist them. You are also invited to attend our community prayer time at The Place every Sabbath before Sabbath School starting at 9:45 a.m. If you would like to pray for our church and our community or be prayed for, we invite you to come and share in this powerful time together.
We also invite you to continue your faithful giving. We appreciate your support so much. We continue to be in URGENT need of more financial donations for our worthy student fund. If you would like to donate to this fund, please specify the amount on your tithe envelope. You may return tithes and offerings at The Place or on-line by clicking on the link. God bless.

Fundraising For The Place Kids
It's a simple idea. When you go about your regular shopping, at no cost to you, an eScrip company will give some of its profits to The Place to pay for programs for our kids.
If you have a VONS Club card, please register it online at escrip.com right now. A portion of your Vons grocery bill will go to children and youth of The Place - including the worthy student fund, materials, missions, etc.
Our immediate goal is to sign up 100 cards for The Place. A hundred supporters would mean at least another $5,000 a year for The Place -- with little effort.
Please sign up - take a second right now to help us raise money for our kids.
