The Scoop at The Place - January 17, 2008
This Week At The PlaceWe look forward to worshiping with you this coming Sabbath. This Sabbath Bill Werner is preaching on Exodus 13. His sermon is titled "The Roundabout Way." This week Dean Palacio is leading praise and worship, and Ralph Figueroa will have special music. We invite you to stay after church this coming Sabbath as we will have snacks and refreshments in the cafe.
We also want you to know that we have a draft of the 2008 Church Directory in the lobby...we know there may be mistakes, we ask that you please check your entry and make any necessary additions, edits or changes.
We invite you to Sabbath School this week. We have children's Sabbath Schools for all ages, including our cradle roll, kindergarten, primary, junior/earliteen, and youth Sabbath school classes that meet at 10:30 a.m. Elder Rob Randall will be leading the adult Sabbath school which is studying the book of Romans. Stop by and be blessed!
You are also invited to attend our community prayer time at The Place every Sabbath before Sabbath School starting at 9:45 a.m. If you would like to pray for our church and our community or if you would like to be prayed for, we invite you to come and share in this powerful time together.
And, we have a new on-line giving program. This new program does not charge us a fee, so, please feel free to return your tithes and offering donations online to The Place by clicking on the link (or, of course, at The Place.)
Thanks so much for your support! God bless.
