The Scoop at The Place - August 28, 2008
This Week At The PlaceHappy Labor Day Weekend. We look forward to seeing you this coming Sabbath at The Place. This week Pastor Simon will continue preaching over his summer fling series with his sermon titled "The 5 Talent Guy" which will focus on Matthew 25:14-30. Chad Reisser will be leading worship. We also look forward to celebrating with Ken and Amy Miller as they dedicate their baby daughter, Darci to the Lord.
There will also be photos from the Chile Mission trip available for viewing in the lobby so that all can see and share in our project.
We also invite you to Sabbath school starting at 10:30 a.m. We have several classes ranging from cradle roll class to adult classes. We have something for everyone! We hope you’ll stop by and be blessed.
Our prayer committee meets every Sabbath morning starting at 9:45 a.m. to pray for individual as well as community needs. If you are interested, please join us this Sabbath.
And, your tithes and offerings are always a blessing. We thank you for your faithfulness in giving. You can return your tithes and offerings at The Place or by clicking on the link provided.
