Card Ministry - want to be part of this new ministry?
This week we have been surrounded by Firemen and Women working to keep our homes safe and doing their best to save our countryside. Wouldn't it be great to send them a THANK YOU card letting them know that their hard work is appreciated! There are many in old age homes who would enjoy receiving a card from The Place, just letting them know that we are thinking of them. We all celebrate birthdays and what a blessing it is when a new baby is born. We are looking forward to expanding our Card Ministry at The Place and letting the community know that we care. If you would like to be a part of THE CARD ministry at The Place and have some ideas that you would like to have implemented please contact either Pastor Simon or Vivienne to let them know that you would be willing to help.
E-mail addresses are: Simonliversidge@hotmail.com and vivlans@yahoo.com.

September Financial Update
In September we received about $10,600 in tithe (which goes to the So. Cal. Conference); giving us a total of about $145,000 for 2008. We also received about $17,000 in local church giving in September. This gives us a total of about $135,000 it local church giving for 2008. This leaves us about $17,000 short of our expenses so far for 2007. Thanks so much for your faithfulness. We are seriously blessed! After all...our Father owns it all!
