Monthly Food Drive-Next Sabbath
Next Sabbath is our monthly food drive. After the holidays, there are less food donations, but the needs have not changed. We continue to donate the food to Ventura County Food Share. They have very much appreciated the donations that The Place has given. Some of the families that receive food every month have babies and young children. These families are in need of diapers and baby wipes. Every month the Ventura County Food Share provides meals to children, families and the elderly. Next week there will be a box by the door for your donations. If you, your family, or someone you know needs food assistance, please contact Pastor Simon.

Children's Ministry
We are still looking for a few more teachers who would be interested in teaching Sabbath school. If that is your gift, we need you. Also, we will be starting a Children's Church in the coming months. Children's Church will take place once a month. We believe that this ministry will be a great blessing for our children and an opportunity for ministry for many of us. If you are interested in teaching or in helping out in either area, please contact Denise Ramirez or Pastor Simon.

Letters of Encouragement
Josue Gomez, a member of The Place and currently in Marine Boot Camp in San Diego, has requested that we send letters of encouragement (no packages). It is obviously a difficult time but his faith is strong. We encourage you to keep Josue in your prayers and to write to him at: Rec.
