March Financial Update We are one-fourth of the way through our fiscal year and want to update you all about our church finances. In March we received giving towards tithe of $12,322. We appreciate your faithful giving to our worldwide church. Our giving towards our local church budget in March was $5,787. Our monthly budget for our local expenses is about $8,700. Of this, the primary expenses are our rent for our new church; educational subsidies of our local schools, CAES and NPAA; and for our programs here at The Place. Please remember to bless our local church as well when you plan your monthly giving. As part of our church family, we appreciate your support of our church. It blesses all of us when we each contribute to build up our church body financially. As a reminder, you may contribute at The Place or online by clicking on the link.

Our Many Thanks We absolutely LOVE our new Place! Last Sabbath was a HUGE blessing as we celebrated the first of many times together at our new location. We want to thank everyone who helped move, set up, and host last Sabbath. Special thanks to: Denise Ramirez, April Fowler, and Vickie Lemasters ( and all the others who brought food items) for the fellowship luncheon; to Robert Nomelli for our new signs; to Ron Fausset for facilitating the move; and to Rodney Andregg and Greg Quilop for setting up the audiovisual system. We are truly blessed to have such a devoted church family!
Food Drive-This Sabbath .."A gift opens the way for the giver and ushers him into the presence of the great." Proverbs 18:16. Our monthly food drive will continue this Sabbath, April 9th. Every month we collect canned goods as well as diapers, wipies, and formula for homeless and needy families. The donations go to the Ventura County Food Share. Our donations have been a great blessing to many in need. This Sabbath there will be a box in the lobby of the church marked "food drive" where you may place your donations. We thank you for your faithfulness and generosity.
Congratulations! We want to congratulate new parents Greg and Meaghan Quilop on the early birth of their little boy, Glicerio Liam Fitzgibbons Quilop. Glicerio was born on Tuesday night, April 5th weighing 5lbs, 9oz and measuring 18 inches long. There will be a sign up sheet this Sabbath (if you are interested) so that you may sign up to provide the Quilops a dinner some time within the next two weeks starting Monday. Also, Greg and Meaghan's baby shower has been postponed to Saturday night, the 23rd of April (it was this saturday night! Surprise!) The baby shower will be held at the Andregg's home in Newbury Park..........we look forward to meeting little Glicerio!!!

Mommies Ministry OK, so what this is - is a Placer Mommy ministry that will be meeting once a week to do something fun and just have some fellowship together! Many of us see each other at Sabbath School or other events but it would be nice for us to really get to know each other better so we have a great network of girlfriends to call on when in need - and since we're ALL Mommies - we're all in need at one time or another!!!! This is a no stress situation - all fun. Heather Richmund is the contact for the group and will e-mail the mommies weekly to give the "date" for that week and will have subsequent weeks included so you can plan ahead! Last week, the mommies met on Wednesday for a potluck luncheon and it was a wonderful time of eating, sharing, and praying. Next Wednesday the mommies are scheduled to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo. We will meet at church at 12:00 and carpool together. Wednesday the 20th there will be another outing to the park (in the afternoon), and then on Wednesday the 27th, there will be an outing at night for mommies only (location to be determined). If you are interested in going, please contact Heather. If anyone has a scheduling conflict due to part time work or something like that - PLEASE make sure to let Heather know so she can schedule different days and times to make sure and include as many as possible!!
