Happy Thanksgiving November 24th, 2005

Happy Thanksgiving!
We wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving Season. There is SO much to be grateful for. Some praises to mention are the blessings of God in our lives and at The Place. We praise God for family and the joy that it brings us; for a country that offers us freedom; and a community of faith. We pray that you and your families are having a blessed time during this Thanksgiving Season. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We invite you to continue praying for our church, our families, our men and women who are defending our country and for our local community.

Congratulations!

A hearty congratulations to our newlyweds David & Sandra Haynes who were married on November 13th. We look forward to seeing both of you. Also to Merv Kessler & Nancy Hintz who will be wedding this Sunday. We wish you all a life full of God's richest blessings and much love... we are all very happy for you!

We also congratulate Alisa Kalberg on her delivery of healthy baby girl twins this past Sunday, November 20th. Alisa has blessed another couple of parents as she has been a surogate mother. We are all so proud of you.

We will be visiting three separate homes for meals and exchanging Christmas ornaments. And-there will be a special activity planned this year involving video cameras (my lips are sealed).

However, our party can only be a success with your help. If you are interested in preparing salads, soups, appetizers, main entrees, side dishes, and/or desserts, PLEASE contact Cecilia Liversidge asap @(818) 676-0247 or via e-mail @ cecilialiversidge@hotmail.com. November 30th (this next week) is Girl's Night Out - Heather is working on something FUN (of course)! This is going to be a special evening as well because along with our evening of fun we are going to have cards for each of you - who are interested - to fill out for a Secret Santa drawing. The cards will be helpful to the person who gets your name because you will put things like the colors in your house or maybe a special request you might have for a gift... Then we'll put them in a hat you pass it around. At the December Girl's Night Out the Secret Santa gifts will be given and ALL WILL BE REVEALED!!!!!!!!! So, those who - for some sad reason - can't make it to November's Girl's Night Out - but want to be involved in the Secret Santa - NO WORRIES!!! We'll make sure you get a card and get to be involved!!

Any questions, comments? Please contact Heather @ 805-499-0398.

Look forward to seeing many mommies there!
