Financial Update - 2005
Yes...it is a new year, but we wanted to share with you about the incredible blessings of 2005. All year long you heard about our church budget and our financial needs, and you have responded with great generosity. Thanks!

During December we received $35,728 in tithe...bringing our total for the year to $170,894. This is an increase of approximately $26,000 over last year. This giving to our local conference allows us to have our pastor and supports our local schools and medical work as well as many other ministries in Los Angeles and around the world.

We also received $43,619 towards our church budget in December. This is an incredible blessing for us as a church. It brings our total giving to church budget to $123,527 for the year. This giving allows us to finish 2005 AHEAD of our budget. Thanks so much! God has blessed us and we believe that He will continue to bless you in your faithful giving.

As a reminder, if you have questions about our local church budget or giving in general, we will be addressing this at our Business Meeting on January 28.
And, as we are already beginning a new year, and a new budget, we invite you to continue your faithful giving in 2006. God has blessed us so much...and, we are praising God in advance for his blessings to come!

Youth Calendar
Take out your calendars...there are a few new things in store for the youth. First, there will be a vespers on Friday night, February 3rd. The details will come soon.

Prayer and Small Groups
As you know, we have been studying about prayer at church during the past few weeks, and will be continuing during the next weeks to learn how to pray like Jesus prayed. But, our prayer team is also busy and would love to pray for you...if you have prayer requests you may email them to Joelle Vessels at processgirl@hotmail.com.

Also, as a reminder, our small groups are continuing strong. Several of our groups are focusing on prayer as well. You can find a complete list of these groups on our website.
