Also, we would like to give you another opportunity to give towards the care packages we are getting together for one of our members stationed in Irag. We invite you to support Josue Gomez and let him know that we are thinking for him and praying for him and that we miss him. If you are interested in contributing to the care packages for Josue, please bring your items and/or letters to church this Sabbath or contact Cindy Schumacher via the link below. Please also remember in prayer our two other Marines, Sam Gomez and James Baker.

Maranatha Mission Trip

We need your help! Our goal is to raise $20,000 for this project. It will fund the building of a new church (which we are building!) for a group of almost 200 believers.

We will be having a brief meeting this Sabbath after church to discuss upcoming fundraisers. Please keep praying for this trip and for those who are going. Please contact Pastor Simon if you or someone you know would like to donate your money or your time or to assist in fundraising.

Community Prayer-This Sabbath
You are invited to attend a special morning prayer time this coming Sabbath at 9:45 a.m. Come join us and pray over our church, and for special needs in the community. Hope to see many of you there! This will be the first of many opportunities...in fact, weekly! So, if you have the heart to bless our church by seeking God's blessing over our time of worship and to be used by God to bless others, come on out.

Nominating Committee
Our Nominating Committee for The Place has begun their work, so if you are a member of The Place you should be hearing from us (and sometimes from several people!) We would LOVE for you to be involved with us. We also love to start new things or to help train you if you are interested in a particular ministry, but don't feel adequately prepared.

As an added resource, the ministries page on The Place website can give you some ideas of what ministries we have and ideas for ones we could have! We've included general ministry descriptions from other Adventist churches as a guide, but not as a rule. Find your own place in the body of Christ using the unique gifts God gave you!
